Falk Energy AS was founded by entrepreneur Oddbjørn Falkgjerdet with a vision to develop technology that supports sustainable alternatives in wind power. The idea began as a personal project, driven by a desire to create a solution with a minimal environmental footprint, specifically designed for smaller-scale applications where conventional wind turbines are not suitable.

In 2019, Oddbjørn faced a pivotal decision: to either bring the idea to life or set it aside permanently. Believing strongly in its potential, the initial design drafts were developed in collaboration with leading Norwegian research institutions. While the first results fell slightly short of expectations, they laid the foundation for a technology characterized by high efficiency and a low environmental footprint.

Oddbjørn secured support from national and regional research funds, and through intensive engineering efforts, significant breakthroughs were achieved alongside research partners. This was just the beginning. Further collaboration with these expert communities confirmed the true potential of the technology – a solution that combines high efficiency, low blade speed, and minimal environmental impact.
